SPRAYER & COMBINE OPERATOR

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time sprayer operator and combine driver at Savock Farms

Main roles will be to operate our 36m Agrifac sprayer as well as one of our NH combines. The candidate will be responsible for the application of all crop protection and fertilisers. A valid qualification of PA1 & PA2 is not essential but may be advantageous, any additional training will be provided if required. Suitable experience and a good understanding of each role would be beneficial.

The candidate must have a good knowledge of modern machinery, technology, and precision farming. A willingness to expand their skill set will lead to personal development opportunities within the business. The successful applicant must be able to self-motivate and use their own initiative while also being part of a wider team. Excellent record keeping and stock control is a requirement within each role. Good time keeping and a clean UK driving is essential.

TRACTOR DRIVER & GFW

An opportunity has arisen within Savock Farms to join the expanding team. The role is for a tractor driver and GFW within our diverse agri business growing arable and energy crops.

Jobs will include cultivations, haulage, digestate applications, ploughing, lime spreading and clamp work amongst others. The

Good mechanical skills and a practical understanding are a distinct advantage although training will be provided for the right candidate.

Seasonal workers required from July until end of September to assist on our Arable and AD farm 10 mins north of Aberdeen. The positions could lead into a Full-Time role for the right candidates.

Duties will include:

• grain harvesting

• grain and forage haulage

• primary & secondary cultivation’s

• digestate spreading & haulage

• workshop maintenance

You will be required to have the skills to work new and modern machinery as well as a brush!!

A knowledge and understanding of GPS equipment and combining experience would be advantageous. Experience is essential and a can-do attitude for long hours when required.

The applicants must also understand good record keeping.

Due to insurance purposes the applicants must have a valid UK drivers licence (clean), NI number and permitted to work in the UK.
