The Story of Savock Farms
A modern, diverse and forward-thinking agricultural business built on firm foundations of six generations of farming heritage and expertise.
The name (and our home farm) comes from George and Pat Booth's 1962 purchase of Savock Farm in the North East of Scotland.
Over 60 years on, Savock Farm is owned and operated by Andrew and Debbie Booth — a diversified agricultural business where deep farming roots meet modern technology, data insights and precision — ensuring healthy soil, environmental responsibility and a bright future here for the generations to come.
From Traditional Methods to Precision Farming
Across six generations, the Booth family have seen countless changes to farming and farm life — many of which have been driven by new technologies. From the introduction of the tractor to utilising satellite imagery and data insights, we have always embraced new methods that drive progress.
As Savock Farms has diversified and grown, we have invested in renewable energy production, opened various businesses in property and retail and expanded our horizons to contract farming partnerships — something that allows us to bring our expertise and attention-to-detail to fellow farmers across the region.
Key to all of this ambition, innovation and efficiency is a team of great people. With a family business at its core, Savock Farms continually invests in the development and skill sets of its people — this supports agricultural careers and allows us to achieve more and grow better.
Our History
For over 60 years, we've been here at Savock Farm — growing, improving and taking care of this great place.
The broader history of Savock Farms and the people who make it work, however, stretches back much farther than that — across six generations of family.
